Carrie Kotcho leads the development of innovative digital learning resources for teachers, students, and parents, including Smithsonian’s History Explorer, the Museum’s web portal for K-12 educators, and OurStory, a family literacy website that focuses on American history content. Additionally, Carrie manages the A. James Clark Excellence in History Teaching program, which delivers face-to-face and webcast professional development to teachers nationwide.
